What I'm Loving - March Favorites

3/29/2018

Hey guys! I decided to show you some of the products that are giving me life lately. I know I alwaays post Clinique products and that's because for so many years I've refused to use anything else because I've had so many skin problems that if I use anything else on my skin even if it's natural I get red spots all over my face and it's been so complicated.

Somehow, these past months I've felt more and more in control of my own skin so I've tried different face masks and now even beauty products that I've been loving and I haven't got any skin issues so far. So here they are finally on my blog apart from Clinique!

Elf Tone Adjusting Primer
Where I used to live I didn't have Elf Cosmetics there, but I've heard wonders of these drugstore products, so when I came here I saw that they had Elf and I've tried a couple of products from them, but the one I truly love and I want to share with you is this primer.

Before I put makeup on I always wash my face and apply all of my face creams, but this leaves some redness on my skin, so when I saw this primer I decided to give it a shot. It works wonders! It smells incredibly good and when I applied it I couldn't believe it, it feels like butter and feels so light that I actually had to applied it twice the first time because I wasn't sure it was enough. After the second application it felt as light as the first one and I realized it feels just like that, it's really smooth! The thing is that I've read on some reviews that the actual amount of the product is less than a quarter of the container so it doesn't last long, so that's a watchout for me. But I've used for a couple weeks now and I'm loving it!

L'Oréal Total Cover Color Correcting Palette
I've wanted this one for so long, but never dared to applied it on my skin until now! It promises to balance, correct and perfect complexion as you wipe out skin discolorations. The palette is incredible, I've never used corrector under my foundation away from concealer and red lipstick. It works perfect for dark circles and brightens all those dull areas on my skin. Also the creams are light to wear and I love that it comes with a guide to know where to use it. The only thing I didn't love is the blender it comes with. It works so much better when I use my fingers or a concealer blender I own.

Tarte Magic Star Collector's Set
This is seriously my favorite palette so far. It contains:

  • 25 eyeshadows
  • 2 blushes
  • Golden Champagne highlighter
  • Matte bronzer
  • Travel size lash paint mascara
  • Inner Rim eyeliner
  • Two tarteist lip colors

ALL in one single palette. The best part is that it's cruelty free!!
You can make tons of looks with this palette and I enjoy it specially for traveling because it comes with everything, so I just take this and a couple of more products and that's it! The eyeshadows are really pigmented and the only thing that's missing is a brush. I just use my fingers from time to time when I'm in a hurry or a personal brush. Also the mascara is by far my favorite so far, it gives so much volume through the day that I'm truly thinking about getting it!

L'Oreal Pure Clay Mask Detox & Brightens
So this one I've been longing to get it since they went out, to be honest I watch tons of reviews before it got to Mexico and I finally got my hands on it. I wanted to try first one to see if I was getting the other two clay masks. This one promises to:

  • Draw out build-up of impurities, dirt and pollution
  • Reduce dull skin and increase luminosity
  • Even out skin tone
  • Refresh and allow skin to breathe

I know some people do not like these masks because they can dry out their skin, but to be honest my recommendation would be to use a detoxifying mask and they hydrate your skin right away and it works wonders!

I've used it for a month already and I feel my sin so healthy, clean and smooth, I love it seriously. I've been using this clay mask and Clinique creams and I'm truly happy with the results, I feel comfortable by not wearing any makeup. Just some mascara and I'm ready to go! So yes, I'll totally get the other two clay masks after a month of approving this one!

So that's it! Those 4 are the ones I've been longing to share with you! I'll be making a full review of my top favorites because there are so many things that needs to be said at least from the pure clay mask and Tarte's collector set!

Challenge question!
Have you tried any of these products?
