5th Anniversary! Lessons as a Blogger

6/15/2017

Hello bunnies! Happy anniversary to Live. Laugh. Love & Make Up!! I couldn't be happier that I now have 5 years blogging and the experience I've had is amazing, I can't wait for what's coming! I decided to take advantage of my photo shoot at the beach to celebrate with you these 5 years!
They say time flies when you're having fun and oh boy, I've had had plenty of fun!! Tank you so much to all of you that have supported me, the blogging community is amazing and it's a passion that I attempt to follow. I decided to share with you guys some of the lessons I've got from blogging this past 5 years.
1. Patience: You'll need tons of it because as I've mentioned on other posts, the growth is slow, like really slow. So you actually need to be passionate about writing and keeping out with your blog.

2. Do it for you: As I said, you have to keep up with your blog because you enjoy what you write about, there's no point on writing for everyone else if not for yourself. Don't write about the Kardashians just because everyone's into them, write about whatever you enjoy, even if it's about teas. Your ideal niche will come along with it, just give it time.

3. Take a vacation: It's okay if you have tons of work and you can't keep up with your blog, remember this is a passion to enjoy, so if you're drowning with work or even if you want to spend more time with your family, just do it! Take a vacation from your blog if you need it, it's okay and tons of bloggers do it from time to time. I've done it plenty of times and I couldn't be happier with my blog. It's about enjoying the ride!

4. Success is relative: Yes, you read that right. For me being successful as a blogger is a different concept than what it means for you. Be careful on defining this concept, establishing your goals as a blogger and strive for it. I'm happy with my choices and the goals I've established for myself.

5. Stop comparing yourself: This one is the most important one of all the lessons I've learned from blogging, and I always say it. Do NOT compare yourself to some one else. This is your story, your blog and you know what you make out if it!
With this lessons shared I hope you take advantage of them, it took me about a year to start reading lessons from bloggers and they're useful, but they're even more useful when you just started blogging! Again, thank you so much for all of you that have ran this marathon with me and I can't wait to continue with my blog!

Challenge question!
When did you hear about my blog?

  3. I'm trying to be super patient at the moment but it can be so difficult at times, probably because I can be really impatient just in general! I always try not to compare myself to others as well, in life and also in blogging :)
